This is a diary of events for 2012

We have another full and varied program of events lined up for the year, including a four night break at the Ramada Hotel - Grantham in May.

A 4-star hotel with spa, pool and gym, the Ramada Grantham Hotel has modern rooms and facilities including free Wi-Fi. The Garden Restaurant offers both modern and traditional cuisine. The Courtyard Bar has a lounge area and a terrace. The bar also serves meals and snacks. The hotel has a heated indoor pool and fully-equipped gym. The spa facilities include a sauna, steam room and sunbed.

Belton House, Barnsdale, the garden of the late Geoff Hamilton, Burghley, Grimsthorpe Castle, Lincoln Cathedral and a river boat trip were just a few of the places visited during our packed five day itinerary.

May brings us to our annual outing (see above or select May in the calendar at the left-hand side)

In June our coach will take us to Leeds and the Thackray Museum & Marks in Time Exhibition.

In July, we have a coach outing to Newby Hall, Ripon.

In August, there will be a coach outing to Hoghton Tower and a canal trip.

September brings us to the last of our coach outings for the year, Shrewsbury and Attingham Park.

This month also sees the first of our autumn indoor meetings with a talk given by Mr D. Mitchell, and the subject will be 'Pass me my Wig & Tights'.

  In October- the lecture will be 'What did You do before Telly' by Chris Makepiece.


In November– the speaker will be Harry Watson and the subject? - 'North West Air Ambulance'.

December brings us to the last of the events of the year with a Christmas Celebration at the Frodsham Community Centre.
